IBQ distributes a thin client software package to all the participating agents, which can be used as a standalone rater or in conjunction with an agent's existing rater. Think of the client as a front end to the agent's rating engine, allowing the agent to get quotes from companies using a desktop rating engine and from companies using Q-Rater.
